Getting to the Start Line

The Marathon, Half Marathon, & 5-Mile races are all point-to-point courses. Due to lack of parking at start areas & our effort to reduce environmental impact participants must ride an event provided bus to the race starting locations. Participants arriving to the starting areas in a vehicle will be disqualified from the event.

  • Only registered runners will be allowed on buses, your race bib is your bus pass.
  • Be on time. Miss the bus and you miss the race.
  • Do not leave anything on the bus as not all buses will be returning to the finish line. There will be a bag drop truck at each start area for your personal items.
  • Bus boarding is at Poudre High School, Fort Collins, CO.

Parking is limited, please carpool to parking area if possible. If you arrive in the later time frames know you may have a longer walk to get to the bus. Plan extra time to park and walk to bus boarding area.

Race Day Packet Pickup is located near the bus boarding area. Race day packet pickup option must be reserved in advance.

There will be portable toilets available at the parking/bus boarding location as well as at every start area.

Bus Boarding Times:

Marathon: 4:30 – 5:00 am
Half Marathon: 5:00 – 6:00 am
5-Mile: 5:30 – 6:00 am
 
Miss the bus –> miss the race!

Do not be late for bus pickup.  The last bus leaves at the last time indicated, so you need to arrive at least 10 minutes before the cutoff time listed.

Your race bib is your bus pass, have your race bib showing to board the bus. Only registered runners may ride the buses to the start areas. Dogs are not allowed on the bus or in any of the races.

Post-race Transportation from Finish Area to Parking

Getting Back to Your Car

Stay & enjoy the post-race celebration and when you are ready to head home board an event provided bus to return to you car.

Buses will be leaving finish area every half-hour from 8:00am to 12:30 pm.

Reminder – We are a Green Event! Please keep the buses clean and take all your belongings off the bus with you. Dispose of your waste in the proper way – there will be compost, recycle, and landfill bins at each event related area.


Spectator Parking

Friends, family, and spectators are welcome to come to the finish area of the event to celebrate with you. There is parking at the finish area for $10 (cash only).

All Funds are donated to the event beneficiary groups.

There will be no parking along Hwy 14 during the event.
