Fall Equinox Virtual Race

The Fall Equinox Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5-Mile races are virtual and can be run anywhere in the world!

Run the Fall Equinox Virtual Marathon, Half Marathon, or 5 mile races anywhere and enjoy all the swag including long sleeve race shirt, finisher medal, pint cup, sticker, race bib, and finisher’s certificate!

All you need is a watch or smartphone, your imagination, and some running shoes. Accountability partner, running buddy, and your friendly pups are optional but highly recommended.

Virtual Runner Packets will be available for pickup Sept 20-30th at Runners Roost Fort Collins or will be mailed after September 20th to those who selected the packet mailing option.

Complete your race distance(s) anytime from September 1-30th and submit proof by October 1st to receive your event swag package.

Virtual Race Information:

Registration for Virtual Run will close September 30th.

Run your race(s) anytime from September 1st to 30th.

The deadline to submit virtual run results is midnight on Sunday, October 1st.

Virtual Packet Pickup:

Virtual Packets will be available for pickup at Runners Roost Fort Collins on October 1st. If you choose to have your packet mailed it will be mailed to you on October 1st.

Please note: Virtual packets will NOT be available for pickup during the In-person race packet pickup times on Sept 15th and 16th.

 

Acceptable Virtual Race Entry Proof:

– Photo proof of your tracking device ( smartphone, GPS watch, dreadmill or as some of you like to call it, a treadmill)

– A Link to Garmin, MapMyRun, Strava, or other tracking apps.

Submit Results

 

Awards:

We will be giving awards to top overall finishers.

You MUST use STRAVA and submit STRAVA proof of run to be eligible for awards.

You Strava image must show the following:

  • Your name and profile image
  • Date (date must be from Sept 1 – 30, 2023)
  • Distance
  • Moving Time
  • Elapsed Time

The elapsed time will be used as your time in consideration of awards. If your submission does not show all of the above items you will not be considered for awards.

Important Information:

Your finish time will be posted on the Results Page.
Bib, Shirts & Medals will be mailed to the address listed on the registration form.
Virtual Race registration is required in order to participate in the program.
